UAE’s ADNOC Distribution has inaugurated three ADNOC service stations in Egypt, strategically located in key areas across Greater Cairo to offer a full range of vehicle services to the local communities.
The company plans to open a further six ADNOC service stations nationwide by the end of 2023, following the acquisition of a 50% stake in TotalEnergies Marketing Egypt earlier this year.
“Today marks an important milestone in our international expansion journey as we launch ADNOC service stations in Egypt, positioning us as a leading regional provider of mobility solutions,” said Eng. Bader Saeed Al Lamki, CEO of ADNOC Distribution.
“As a future-focused business, we continue to take bold steps to address the needs of our customers and look forward to bringing more of our innovative and digitally-backed services to the Egyptian market and to exploring further opportunities to grow our portfolio.”
ADNOC Distribution launched its signature ADNOC Oasis convenience stores, as part of this initial roll-out, offering a wide range of food and beverages tailored to Egyptian customers. This includes the brand’s own specialty grade, 100% Arabica coffee.
The joint venture includes a diversified downstream portfolio of 240 fuel retail stations, more than 100 convenience stores, over 250 lube changing stations, car washes, lubricants, wholesale, and aviation fuel operations.
The venture has succeeded in expanding its corporate portfolio in the aviation fuels business, by securing the right to supply aviation fuel to Etihad Airways for flights fuelled in Cairo.
The newly opened ADNOC service stations in Egypt are fully equipped to operate 24/7, and are in Degla Maadi, Obour City, and on the Suez Ring Road. The stations offer a full range of vehicle services including car wash, lubricant and tire change.
ADNOC Distribution’s Egypt expansion is the latest achievement in the company’s international growth journey.
